Shadow Puppet 3-Day Workshop
Come create and tell stories in a three-day shadow puppet workshop! Your child will learn the magical, centuries-old art of wayang kulit, a traditional Indonesian form of shadow puppetry. In this hands-on workshop, participants will design and craft their own puppets, explore the exciting interplay of light and shadow, and learn to bring their characters to life on the screen. Children will develop their storytelling and performance skills while discovering a rich and celebrated cultural tradition, culminating in their own imaginative shadow puppet play.
Workshop will be held at First Presbyterian Church (1159 E. Third Ave.) from 9 a.m. until noon each day.
